Getting old is a problem for a lot of people. So I began to write about what has happened to me as I have aged. Some of it is advice for those younger people who actually think about their older years, but some are just stories about experiences that I and others have had. While many writers on the Substack platform monetize their writings by adding extra material for a subscription fee, I have decided not to do that. I’m hoping that my posts will encourage people to plan ahead for their older years as best they can, because the ability to prevent a problem in younger years will really pay off later in time.
